The second year BTEC Acting students created two evenings of superb theatre called 'Cameo'. This formed part of their assessment and featured snippets of different plays including Romeo and Juliet, Blood Brothers and Bouncers.
The students were amazing and took the audience through a range of emotions: laughter, tears, anger ... they were all featured.
Acting teacher, Rebecca McDonald, commented "I'm so proud at what they have put together for the start of the year. This group have such talent and ability and that was clear during the performances they gave."
The show was also seen by our district NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) representative and we await her review.
The students will produce 'The Play That Goes Wrong' later in the year. Tickets for this will be available via the College or our Facebook page here. (Facebook.com/SJRPerformingArts).
