Our BTEC Year 12 Business students are currently learning all about marketing for two of their BTEC units. As part of this work they are focusing their assignments on Chill Factore and Krispy Kreme. The students were able to use the trip to gain valuable information for their assignments (whilst also having great fun!).
They spent the day learning about how Chill Factore markets itself and conducting their own market research before enjoying the snow park activities, including The Luge, Downhill Doughnuts, The Luge Slip and Slide and Sledge O Mania.
The trip finished with a talk at Krispy Kreme, where students were able to gain information about both marketing and production before sampling some of the products. Student Max Richardson said, “I had a great time and had good fun whilst exploring the different promotional methods that Chill Factore uses. I found out lots of information that I didn’t know.” Oliver Alexander said, “I really enjoyed flying down the hill, I want to go again!”
