115 114 BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma Biomedical Science 114 Introduction Throughout the course you will explore a number of fundamental scientific concepts in chemistry, biology and physics and there is a large emphasis on practicals and practical techniques. The course then allows you to gain specialist biomedical knowledge through units such as disease and infections to support your progression into a medical field.
