The Football Performance and Excellence students visited Vitesse Arnhem FC on our annual football trip to Holland.
The students undertook a number of training sessions with Vitesse Arnhem FC staff and had the opportunity to work on the technical and tactical side of their game with professional coaches.
Whilst on the trip, the students watched Vitesse Arnehem FC play Roda FC in the Eredivisie and were lucky enough to be given a pre-match tour of the stadium.
On the final day of the tour we were invited to watch the First XI train and were presented with a Vitesse Arnhem FC signed shirt by the club.
Trip leader, Scott Rogers said, “This was a fantastic opportunity for the students.  To be able to develop their skills within an elite environment was unique and gave the students a flavour of what it is like to be a professional player.  The students were a credit to SJR and hopefully they will remember this experience for many years to come.”
