Future Engineers Impress Sellafield Experts
Congratulations to the Future Engineers Team, who gave a presentation regarding POCO (Post Operational Clean-Out) of nuclear facilities to Lead Engineers from Sellafield.
Over the past few months, the team has worked closely with graduates from Sellafield to investigate how this is done and suggest an approach to deal with a fictional scenario. The students combined elements of Process, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering to demonstrate their approach to dealing with this task, then held a Q & A session impressing the Engineers with their answers and the scope of their knowledge. Well done team!
