Geography Trip To Stockholm
As part of their A Level studies, Geography students visited Sweden’s capital, Stockholm.
A range of geographies were investigated, including the role of World Heritage Sites and the growth of multi-culturalism and urban development. Students were given the opportunity to meet a Swedish MP who gave them a personal tour of Parliament House, the federal office in Stockholm.
The weather stayed a relatively mild -1 degrees so students, wrapped up appropriately, enjoyed the outdoors and the beautiful landscape of the city.
As part of the trip, students were afforded the opportunity to explore this beautiful city. They watched an ice hockey match, played laser tag, and sampled a range of Swedish delicacies including delicious cakes and pastries. Of course, no trip to Sweden is complete without the mention of ABBA. Students visited the famous ABBA museum, learnt about their rise to fame and even tried their hand at singing a few hits!
