Outward Bound for our Future Medics and Dentists
Smelt Mill in the Trough of Bowland was the idyllic setting as our Future Medics and Dentists along with the Future Scientists visited the Mountain Rescue Team.
The agenda for the day was multiple teambuilding activities, to work on communication skills, leadership skills and self-reflection after each task. In the afternoon after some basic First Aid training, it was off up a nearby hill to complete a mock rescue and bring a casualty down from the hill. A fantastic day was had by all.
