Y12 Sociology students went to the Manchester Art Gallery and the People’s History Museum, where they stepped back into the past and see how workers fought for their rights through unions and protest, shaping the employment and education legislation we have today. They saw the “Stories of Women, Work and Uncertain Futures” exhibition.
The trip concluded at Kickair Trampoline park, where students considered the blurred lines between childhood and adulthood in today’s society! It was a great day out and the students learnt so much to help them with their A Level in sociology.
