Students Set Their Sights On Florida
SJR students Charly-Dee Evans and Katie Evans have travelled to Florida in order to compete in a prestigious international Cheerleading and Dance competition.
Katie and Charly-Dee have been competing with Wigan Hawks Cheer and Dance Team for many years, and following their success in the National Championships in Newcastle last year, the team have qualified to compete at the USAF Cheerleading and Dance World Championships in Florida this month. The ultimate goal of all Cheer and Dance teams worldwide is to compete in the World Championships and this could well be a once in a lifetime opportunity. We wish Charly-Dee and Katie every success and hope that they will be able to bring the coveted trophy home to Wigan!
