Future Psychologists will give you a unique opportunity to develop a thorough understanding and knowledge base of the role of the Psychologist. This will include gaining an understanding of the various careers in Psychology departments at various universities, visits from renowned leading Psychologists and participating in charity events such as, ‘World Mental Health Day’.

Who should follow the programme?

Students who have a keen interest in Psychology, how the mind works and are looking to pursue a career in the psychological field.

What will this elective lead to after SJR?

The skills and experience gained through the Future Psychologists Programme will support a range of pathways such as an application for further study at a prestigious university, a higher apprenticeship or employment, for example, a mental heath practitioner. This elective will also give an insight into the professional career routes in Psychology e.g Clinical Psychology.
