Science Alumni Supports Students

The Science Department welcomed former SJR student Chloe Elliott to support A level Biologists with their course.

Chloe was part of the ‘Class of 2015’ and after successfully completing her A levels in Biology, Physical Education and Psychology she continued study science at university. Chloe had a number of offers from different institutes but opted to study a BSc (Hons) in Human Biology and a Masters of Research specialising in Reproductive Science at Edge Hill University.

During the pandemic Chloe was able to put her theoretical knowledge into practice as she began work at a Covid research lab and has later gone on to work as a virologist.

In October 2021 she secured a graduate teaching position and has began working towards her PHD in reproductive fertility.

Chloe will be continuing to work closely with our A level and T level Science students in our new laboratory over the next academic year.

Thank you for your continued support Chloe!
