Fairhurst are a local Accounting Firm based in Wigan and they are currently looking to recruit two Apprentices – one for Audit and one for Trainee Tax Assistant. You would complete Professional qualifications whilst having hands-on experience in a busy practice. Student must have achieved GCSEs in Maths & English Language to grade 4, and have completed 3 A Levels or equivalent. Skills that students must be able to demonstrate include:
Excellent attention to detail
· Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
· Proactive approach.
· Must be able to think clearly, deliver quickly and accurately
· Inquisitive nature and an aptitude for problem-solving
· Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated and able to work to deadlines
· Desire to learn and succeed in the opportunity given by the role
· Ability to build effective working relationships – internal and external
· This opportunity would be full-time working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days on a permanent basis
· Full study support including 1 day per week for tuition, training and coursework
