A fantastic evening where our Future Medics, Dentist and Vets, Scientists and Engineers all presented to parents and friends.

The Futures programmes are careers academies that give out students experience beyond their academic curriculum to support them in getting into these careers.

The Future Engineers work on their projects in teams and their presentations were amazing. The Future scientist and Future Medics, Dentist and Vet do Crest award projects and produced a poster showing what they have found. There was an opportunity for the students to explain their work and on project on chilli and what calms the heat/pain in the mouth, it was possible to try the food out yourself. It was interesting to see that lemon tart calmed the chilli effect and not use yoghurt.
