Geography Students Study Manchester
Geography students visited Manchester over two days to prepare and collect data for their coursework.
The students had an opportunity to develop their skills for a range of research methods, including photography, surveys and scientific readings.
The coursework in Geography is independent and can be conducted in any field. The students’ choice of topics varied, from how perception of Manchester has changed over time to how the Carbon Cycle is affected by urban environments. The data collected will be analysed over the next few weeks and provide a foundation for the coursework which is worth 20% of the final A-Level grade
