SJR ASPIRE Assemblies

SJR ASPIRE Assemblies

Y12 and Y13 students who had demonstrated positive study habits across all their subject were in invited to a celebration assembly

ASPIRE focuses on 6 of the key areas::

Attendance

Study Skills

Progress

Independence

Resilience

Employability

It was lovely to see all these students that are all positive role model for those around them.

ASPIRE – is first introduced to students during Y12 induction via tutorial and subject lessons. Through the implementation of the framework, the expectations and rewards of positive learning behaviours are explained to students.  Teachers share ASPIRE strategies with students to help them achieve each of the 6-steps of the framework – all of which provide a recipe for successful study.

Each of the students invited to the ASPIRE rewards assembly have used the 6 key areas to allow themselves to grow, develop and become successful learners.  Skills and abilities which are truly worth celebrating.

I had a great experience at SJR. I met a lovely bunch of people and made so many friends. I wouldn’t have achieved the grades I did without the tutor advice and support. Thank you.
