SJR Software Engineers Gain Industry Qualification
Students from the Future Software Engineers Elective have been at the UKFAST offices in Manchester sitting their Linux Essentials exam. The group spent an hour revising with industry experts before sitting the exam.
Upon passing, the students were awarded with an industry-recognised qualification which they will be able to use when applying for apprenticeships or universities next year. The students have worked hard since the elective started and have been awarded with a fantastic and unique qualification which they fully deserve.
“I got 95% on the exam, which I am made up with,” said student Patrick McLean, “and Lawrence Jones MBE (UKFAST owner) followed me on Twitter!”
