A group of our year 12 SJR Honours Academy students were fortunate to be selected for a wonderful residential visit to Cambridge University as part of the HE+ programme.
Students had a real taste of university life staying at Murray Edwards College, attending academic sessions, meeting students and exploring the city.
Students enjoyed lectures on a wide range of academia, ranging from Witchcraft to neuroblastoma.
They sampled the facilities and met like-minded students from other Northwest Colleges.
For many, it offered an insight into the application process.
They also gained invaluable advice from admission tutors and students at Cambridge.
