Thank you so much to the Liverpool Mathematical Society’s for organising the annual ‘Pop Maths’ quiz, which gave our three amazing teams of mathematicians a run for their money.
Hosted at the architecturally interesting Liverpool John Moores University Student Life building, it made Saturday 1st March a very exciting and challenging one for the Maths Students.
This year’s quiz, arguably the toughest ever set, saw SJR’s brilliant students pit their wits against the finest Maths brains in the North West. Congratulations to Matthew Kinloch, Lucas Murray, Ben Ridiut, and Sam Worthington on their fabulous score.
Take a look at the photos of the event. It has become so popular that schools from around the country (and occasionally abroad) compete online. Looking forward to going again next year.
