Payment portals

Parents > Payment portals

St John Rigby College has two payment portals:

ParentPay is used to make online payments for:
  • College bus passes
  • Print Credits
  • Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) Applications
You will receive a letter containing your activation code for setting up this portal during your induction week. You can access the ParentPay web site at

UPAY is used to add funds to your Student ID card so that you can make cashless purchases in the College refectories and shops. To get more information and register for UPAY click here. You can download UPAY to your phone by searching for UPAY on the AppStore or Google Play. You will receive an email containing your activation code for setting up this portal during your induction week. Any top up on UPAY is instant and you will receive a receipt direct to the email address you used when setting up your account. The Catering team will also be able to check your balance immediately. If you have siblings at St John Rigby College you will need to register for separate accounts. Although, due to the current situation, contactless payments (either via the Student ID card or via debit/credit card) are preferred, cash payments are still accepted.
